Site Info
I've been involved in lots of fandoms, and I've always been drawn to fanfic. So, I've somehow found myself to be the archivist to lots of different fanfic archives since I started making websites back in Feb '99.
Generally they're a free for all - anyone is welcome to submit, and there's been the few occasions where I've archived for mailing list, so anything posted was also archived. But I've never run an archive which would house only the fics I really enjoyed. Which was when I decided to open Beyond Imagination.
This fanfic archive is strictly invitation-only, which means nothing is archived unless I ask you for permission to archive it. So please don't send me any submissions. Some may call this elitist but, hey. This is my site, and I'm the one putting the time in to code the pages and pay the money for the webspace, so I feel I'm entitled. This archive is based on Orlando Bloom or, I should say, his fandom. Yes, you read it here - it's actorfic. (If you have a problem with actorfic, please try somewhere else.)
I'm going for quality, not quantity, so sometimes there'll be a rush of updates if I get a couple of new stories to add, but at other times the updates may be few and far in between. So please don't 'expect' there to be one update per week or anything. The 'quality vs quantity' will also explain why this site is much smaller than some others. If you're looking for a bucketload of fic to sink your teeth into, I might suggest Una's Man In The Mirror archive.
The site is run soley by me, Sezza, so if you have any problems or queries, or you find any broken links, please drop me a line at beyondarchive at twisted-logic dot org (remove *dren* from the address - sorry, I'm trying to 'discourage' spammers). Beyond Imagination is hosted by Twisted-Logic[dot]org, my second domain.
The main image used on this site is a photograph by Sebastian Copeland and has been taken from ElfLady.com. It was customised for it's purposes using Adobe Photoshop, so I would appreciate if you didn't steal it (why you'd want to is anyone's guess...). The pages themselves were handcoded by me, using the very spiffy HTML program Macromedia HomeSite, and some inspiration from old designs of mine, including the WRFA and The 8th Chevron.
